On 5 April 2023, H.E. Dr. CHEUNBORAN Chanborey, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Australia, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ms. Robyn Mudie, First Assistant Secretary, Southeast Asian Regional and Mainland Division, at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. During the meeting, H.E. Mudie noted with satisfaction the strengthening of Cambodia-Australia bilateral relations, which have entered a new phase as the two countries celebrated the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic ties last year. She also appreciated Cambodia for her successful role as the ASEAN Chair in 2022. In response, Ambassador Chanborey extended his appreciation for Australia’s continuous support for Cambodia’s socio-economic development and increasingly important regional and international roles. He also shared his vision for the elevation of all-round Cambodia-Australia ties during his tenure.
